
E. DALE YOUNG, CPA, PARTNER E-mail
Dale is the Managing Partner, with a Master's degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University. He is a member of the Gwinnett Chapter of Georgia Society of CPAs, the American Institute of CPAs, and the DeKalb Estate Planning Council. He is the past President of the DeKalb Chapter of CPAs and past Treasurer of the DeKalb Chamber of Commerce. Dale concentrates in the areas of individual and business taxation as well as estate tax planning and personal financial planning.
Dale and his wife, Paula, live in Duluth. Dale's interests include restoring and driving muscle/sports cars, coaching club soccer, traveling, snow skiing, playing the guitar and writing music. Most of all, Dale enjoys spending time with his granddaughters, Annabelle and Isla.
BRIAN A. BLACK, CPA, PARTNER E-mail
Brian is the Technology Partner, with a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration from Georgia State University. He became a Partner in the firm in 1986 and oversees technological issues for the Firm. Brian's principal areas of practice include tax and consulting for closely-held businesses, as well as accounting and tax for physicians, dentists and other healthcare providers. He is a member of the Georgia Society of CPAs and the American Institute of CPAs.
Brian is an avid golfer, participating in many tournaments and charitable events over the years. He and his wife, Patti, live in Pendergrass and are members of 12Stone Church. They enjoy spending time with family, their granddaughter Reagan, and watching Auburn and Georgia football.
ROYCE B. DUNCAN, CPA, PARTNER E-mail
Royce serves as the Audit Partner and is responsible for the firm's system of quality control in the areas of accounting and auditing. He has been practicing public accounting for over thirty years, serving a diversified clientele of businesses, individuals, and not-for-profit organizations. Royce received a Bachelor of Arts in Accounting from Jacksonville University. He is actively involved as Chairman of the Georgia Society of CPAs, following several years of service on the Society's Board of Directors and as President of the DeKalb Chapter. He is also a member of the American Institute of CPAs and represents Georgia on the Institute National Council.
Royce and his wife, Nancy, enjoy spending time with their grown children and love spoiling their grandson, David Scott. In his spare time, Royce can be found watching and attending Atlanta Braves baseball games and Georgia Tech athletic events. He is very interested in the political process and psephology, which allows him to stay well-versed on current governmental issues. Royce also finds time to volunteer at his church, Northview Christian Church, by serving as a teacher for Kidz Rock, and doing mission work at a homeless shelter in downtown Atlanta.
